AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has caused controversy once again by posting a picture of himself aiming a gun with a message to his critics.

Mario Balotelli has caused yet another media storm by posting a picture aiming a gun at the camera on Instagram.

Balotelli posted the picture with the comment: "A big kiss to all the haters". He deleted it shortly afterwards but the post has already spread across social networks and excited the Italian press.

The Italian international is expected to leave AC Milan this summer after the Rossoneri suffered a miserable 2013-14 campaign, falling even to qualify for the Europa League.

Arsenal have been linked with a £25 million move, but Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi recently stated that Italy's poor World Cup had ruined his chances of selling the striker for that sum.

The most likely destination for Balotelli now may be Turkish giants Galatasaray, who have just appointed Italy's World Cup coach Cesare Prandelli as their new boss.

Galatasaray have reportedly promised that they will treat Super Mario 'like a king' if he agrees to sign for them and the chance may appeal to Balotelli.

Balotelli's antics off the field will come as no surprise and are unlikely to have any impact on his status in the transfer market.

But new Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi may be angry having stated earlier in the day that: "Balotelli should be an example," at a press conference.
