Lille striker Divock Origi is said to be considering his options after holding talks over a transfer to Liverpool at Melwood yesterday according to the Liverpool Echo.

A fee has been agreed with the Ligue 1 club for the Belgium forward, who impressed for his country during this summer's World Cup. The fee is said to be around £9.8 million, which includes add-ons.

Yesterday it was reported that Benfica winger Lazar Markovic was due for a medical on Merseyside this week, and the Echo has said the Serbian international will have that today, as he is set to become Liverpool's fourth signing of the summer.

Luis Suarez's move to Barcelona could go through by the end of this week for a fee of around £75 million according to various reports. The report in the Daily Telegraph also suggests that Brendan Rodgers could raid his old club Swansea City for left-back Ben Davies, who has been a target for Tottenham.

The Daily Mail also reports that Liverpool will target Davies, along with striker Wilfried Bony. Bony had an impressive first season in the Premier League and is rated at £20 million.

The Reds are still in the market for a centre-back with Dejan Lovren widely mentioned in recent days, and interest seems to have cooled on Cardiff City's Steven Caulker

However, according to the Daily Mirror, despite holding talks Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace, the 22-year-old is waiting to see if Brendan Rodgers would like to sign him at Liverpool, given the two had worked together at Swansea City.

The Mirror is also reporting that Liverpool are 'on alert' after French winger Antoine Griezmann indicated that he would like to leave Real Sociedad this summer. The La Liga club is said to want £25 million for the player.
