Chelsea transfer news: Filipe deal reportedly agreed, PSG to outbid over Pogba

Stamford Bridge Inside

A round up of transfer stories about Chelsea this morning.

Reports suggest Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis has agreed a deal to join Chelsea.

The Brazilian left-back has been a target for the club for most of this summer, with the Metro pointing to papers in the British press which are claiming a deal is in place.

Luis will set Chelsea back around £20 million after they withdrew their interest in Luke Shaw who joined Manchester United.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain could offer Juventus £60 million to beat Chelsea to the signing of Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman has been mentioned as a potential candidate to come into Stamford Bridge this summer though the Blues may turn away if PSG make an offer in that bracket.

PSG have already thrown their weight around in the transfer market, buying David Luiz from the Blues in a £40 million deal.

The Blues remain linked with a potential move for PSG youngster Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot is one of the most highly rated midfield talents in France with Chelsea thought to be mulling over a £7 million offer for the 19-year-old.

Laurent Blanc has failed to give Rabiot regular first team football in Paris, which could force him to consider an exit away from the club.
