The iconic hairstyle that has made Belgian enforcer Marouane Fellaini stand out from the crowd has been sensationally lost.
Fellaini had promised to shave his afro if Belgium won the World Cup but they were eliminated early, and yuet it appears he has gone ahead and dramatically changed his appearance anyway.
The photo of the "new Fellaini" has been doing the rounds on Twitter after it was posted online by Belgian radio station website Brussels Studio.
United fans and Fellaini will be hoping 'new hairdo, new start' for the man they paid £27.5million last September.
To say the 6ft 4" man's first season at Old Trafford has been disappointing is somewhat of an understatement. In the 21 games he featured in for United he failed to score a single goal.
It hass even been suggested that new boss Louis van Gaal will look to cut United's losses and allow the midfielder to leave on the cheap.
Whatever happens with the midfielder what is certain is that those curly black wigs that were bought in their thousands will soon find a new home at the top of the rubbish heap.
