West London latest: QPR to double defender's wage, Fulham sign Stafylidis

GetWestLondon are reporting that the Rs are set to double Steven Caulker's wages to make sure they complete a £9 million move for the Cardiff City defender.

The big news from the QPR camp in the last 24 hours has been that Brazil legend Ronaldinho has been linked with a move to west London.

According to reports in Italy, Harry Redknapp is interested in bringing the veteran to Loftus Road.

The Brazilian is a World Cup and Champions League winner but, at 34, his ability to influence games in the Premier League will be under severe scrutiny.

Elsewhere, Tottenham are reportedly readying a £5 million bid for QPR target Jamaal Lascelles.

In other news, QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar joined David Luiz in apologising to fans after Brazil's historic 7-1 loss to Germany.


A productive off-season for Fulham has gotten even busier today as the club announced the loan signing of Kostas Stafylidis from Bayer Leverkusen.

A club statement from the Cottagers read: "Fulham is delighted to announce the season-long loan signing of Konstantinos Stafylidis from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. The Club have an option to sign the player permanently at the end of the loan agreement."
