Thorgan Hazard posted on Instagram after taking part in his first training session for loan club Borussia Mönchengladbach

Thorgan Hazard - Eden Hazard's younger brother - posted an image on Instagram after enjoying his first training session with loan side Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The 21-year-old, who has been tipped to have a bright future at Stamford Bridge, has spent his last two seasons on loan at Belgium side Zulte Waregem and the move to the Bundesliga side will be seen as his next step in development towards the Chelsea first team.

He won the coveted Belgium Player of the Year award last season and was incredibly unlucky not to break into the Belgium national side for the World Cup finals.

Next season will prove to be a big year in the younger's career as he looks to prove himself against the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich in one of the world's top football divisions.

The competition at Chelsea, especially in Thorgan's position, is huge and unless the 21-year-old has an outstanding year and impresses Jose Mourinho he could become another one of the Blues' nearly men.

The example of countryman and former team-mate Kevin De Bruyne should leave Thorgan under no illusion to just how high the standard is set at Chelsea and just what he will need to do in order to cement his future at the West London club.

De Bruyne, who is considered a key player for Belgium, had a similar route to the Chelsea first-team as Hazard but unfortunately couldn't hold down a first-team place and was later sold.

The 25-capped Belgium international, who enjoyed his loan spell at Werder Bremen, is now at Bundesliga side Wolfsburg and should face-off against Hazard next season in what should prove to be an interesting match-up.
