New Leeds United signing Tommaso Bianchi was snapped in a Leeds training kit with manager Dave Hockaday at their training camp in Italy.

Bianchi, who has agreed a three-year deal with Leeds, posed for a picture with new head coach Dave Hockaday ahead of their Tuesday training session in Santa Cristina.

The central midfielder, who has signed from Serie A side Sassuolo, is expected to feature in Leeds' first pre-season friendly on Thursday against amateur side FC Gherdeina.

As a former Italian youth international, the 25-year-old is expected to bring a good amount of pedigree to the Leeds United side ahead of their upcoming Championship season, which kicks off away at Millwall on August 9th.

Leeds United are expected to field a vastly different side to the one that finished against Derby last season and have already made big movements in what many expect to be a squad overhaul.

Along with Bianchi, Leeds announced the signing of Chievo goalkeeper Marco Silvestri and saw last season's Player of the Year and top goalscorer Ross McCormack leave for Fulham in an £11 million mega-deal.

Salerno, who is reportedly handling the transfers at Leeds, will undoubtedly be focused on bringing more talented players to the Yorkshire club ahead of their big kick-off in less than five-weeks time.
