Manchester United have confirmed details of who will be on their summer tour, including all three signings made in 2014.
Louis van Gaal may still be at the World Cup, but Manchester United are already making plans for their pre-season.
The Red Devils do not formally announce their squad for the upcoming tour of the US until July 18, but six key names have been confirmed.
Included are the club's three major signings so far in 2014, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw, signed for a combined £97 million.
Mata and Shaw both participated early at the World Cup but saw Spain and England eliminated at the group stages, so will have had time to rest up ahead of the trip.
Wayne Rooney will also be present, as will Shinji Kagawa and David de Gea, states the club's official website.
United's first game will be on July 23 against LA Galaxy, and several young players will hope to make their mark, just like Jesse Lingard did on tour last season, who will be aiming to repeat his four goals scored in Asia.
Elsewhere Ashley Young will be keen to prove a point that he still belongs at United, with new manager Louis van Gaal certain to cause each and every player to raise their effort levels and their performances.
The fact United have two summer signings ensures the fans in America paying big money to watch them will not be let down, and will have a unique first as they witness first hand the new additions in action.
The presence of record signing Juan Mata and highest paid player Wayne Rooney also ensures the club has it's top talent, despite the likely absence of Robin van Persie for the early part of the tour due to World Cup exploits.
Now the race is on for the club to see if they can get any more new signings wrapped up in time for tour, but if they do not - the club's current additions and star power available will ensure their American fans will go home happy.
