Manchester City latest: Mangala ultimatum, Argentine arrives and Toure rumours

All the latest news, views and transfer rumours from the Etihad…

Manchester City have finalised a £6million deal for Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

The Argentine will compete with Joe Hart following Costel Pantilimon’s move to Sunderland earlier this summer.

Caballero was heavily linked with the Blues last year but has now followed his former Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini to Manchester.

In other news, an unnamed Ivory Coast player has been quoted as saying that Yaya Toure will do everything he can to leave City this summer.

InsideFutbol has picked up on reports from Le Parisian in which the unnamed footballer is quoted saying, “He has accumulated too may grudges against (Manchester City’s) leaders and he will not stay with them.

“He will do everything to ensure his departure this summer.”

It will be interesting to see how the Toure saga develops over the summer, and if City really are prepared to part with a vital element of their championship-winning team.

And finally, the Manchester Evening News reports that City are urging Eliaquim Mangala to make a decision on his future in the near future.

The FC Porto centre-back has been linked with the Blues for some time, but it is being reported that he has a number of options ahead of next season and is yet to decide on where he will be playing.

The report claims that City have agreed a £32million fee for the player but are awaiting his decision.
