A selection of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Tuesday evening.

Tottenham remain frustrated in their attempts to sign Swansea City's Ben Davies according to the Daily Mail, with the Swans demanding £12 million for their 21-year-old left-back.

Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino reportedly wants Davies as the first choice left-back at White Hart Lane next season, whilst the Mail is also reporting that Spurs are to table a £5 million bid for Nottingham Forest centre-back Jamaal Lascelles.

QPR have already had a £4 million bid rejected by Forest, but Spurs are said to be prepared to loan Lascelles back for a season as part of the deal. Forest manager Stuart Pearce was quoted last week saying it would take a 'sensational' offer for Lascelles to leave the City Ground.

Tottenham have suffered a blow if they wanted to sign midfielder Yacine Brahimi according to TalkSport, with Porto said to have opened talks with Algerian international.

Granada are said to be seeking £6.5 million for the player, who has also attracted attention from Everton and Liverpool according to the report.

Spurs are rumoured to be interested in Netherlands international Memphis Depay, who has been impressive in their run to the semi-finals of the World Cup. But his manager at PSV Eindhoven, Phillip Cocu, has urged the 20-year-old to snub a move in favour of another season at the club.

London24 has picked up on quotes from Voetbal International, where he said: “I let Memphis know that it would good for him to have another year here.

“He has only one full season behind him. I think you need a certain foundation before making the next step."
