Claudio Bravo asked if Alexis Sanchez had spoken about future

Wanted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus, Barcelona forward appears destined for Camp Nou exit. Claudio Bravo was asked if anything had been said…

Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was the latest addition to the Barcelona roster as the Camp Nou side confirmed the acquisition of the erstwhile Real Sociedad shot-stopper yesterday, Monday.

Upon his unveiling, Bravo - a 31-year-old who produced an average of 3.29 saves per La Liga game in the 2013-14 season - spoke of his pride at joining a club that have a "rich goalkeeping tradition".

One journalist spoke of his World Cup with Chile, where he made 3.75 saves per game, and asked whether star forward Alexis Sanchez had spoken to him about the transfer speculation linking him away from Spain and to one of Arsenal, Liverpool or Juventus.

"We didn't talk about that, we were fully focused on the World Cup," he said, as quoted by MARCA, in an announcement that will perhaps disappoint Gunners fans waiting for confirmation of the player's arrival.

However, in the same MARCA report, Sanchez's desperation to being his spell at the Emirates Stadium was highlighted, while Barcelona appear to be delaying their acceptance of a £32 million from Arsene Wenger as they hope to see a bidding war begin from all interested parties.

Juventus, though, cannot match the larger transfer funds available to teams from within the Premier League.
