Tom Ince's free transfer to Hull City 'baffles' Twitter

Yesterday, Hull City completed the signing of Blackpool's Tom Ince on a two-year deal.

The 2013 Football League Young Player of the Year, who ended last season on loan at Crystal Palace, was a free agent after his contract with the Tangerines expired.

Despite interest from Italian giants Inter Milan, City manager Steve Bruce swooped in to secure the England under-21 international's services ahead of the upcoming season.

Speaking of his move, Ince said, “At my age and at this time in my career I wanted to show what I could do in the Premier League."

“I have unfinished business at this level. I spent a great six months this year at Palace and like I say, this could hopefully be my first full season in the Premier League."

“Further down the line in years to come when I get older, maybe in my career if that opportunity to play abroad is still there then of course it will always be something on my mind that I want to do."

“Sometimes you have to go with your heart and to be given an opportunity to play again in the Premier League is a fantastic opportunity for me and one that I’m relishing."

Ince becomes Steve Bruce's third summer signing, following the arrival of midfielders Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass, with the duo joining from Tottenham and Norwich respectively."
