Toni Kroos has been speaking about his future, with reports continuing to link him with a summer switch to Real Madrid.
In an interview with TZ, the Bayern Munich midfielder revealed that he had made a decision regarding his future, and would reveal it in due course.
The player had been heavily linked with a potential move to Manchester United during David Moyes’ tenure. But those rumours have gone somewhat quiet since Louis van Gaal took charge despite stories the Dutchman personally contacted Kroos regarding a possible switch to Old Trafford.
Despite the claims and counter-claims, it seems Kroos’s future will be revealed relatively soon.
When asked if he had made up his mind as to where he will be playing his football next season, Kroos replied, “There is a decision, that is all I can say.”
In regards to the regular rumours linking him with a move to Real, Kroos added, “I can handle it. I don’t read foreign newspapers regularly but you cannot fail to notice. But that does not affect me. I know better than anyone whether there is something new for me or not.”
For now Kroos is fully focused on the World Cup, with an intriguing semi-final with Brazil on Tuesday evening followed by a potential final against either the Netherlands or Argentina.
But it seems that in less than a week he could reveal what next season has in store, with the player United were reportedly tracking for some time tipped by many to instead head to the Bernabeu.
