Let's cast our eyes back to this exact day, the 7th July 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 7th July 2013…
Arsenal bid for Suarez
In what was a sensational move Arsenal officially dropped their interest in Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain as Arsene Wenger set his sights on the signature of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan had mentioned a desire to play in the Champions League and Arsenal therefore felt they might be able to convince him to leave.
But their first bid, of around £30 million, was swiftly rejected - but Arsenal, for once, did not stop there.
They discovered his £50,000,001 release clause and matched it later that summer - which Liverpool sensationally rejected.
A year on and Suarez looks set to leave Anfield for Barcelona after his latest biting scandal.
David Moyes made a rather chilling prophecy about his time at Manchester United a year ago today.
The former Everton boss, who took over from Sir Alex Ferguson last summer said he did not expect to receive as much time to settle in at the club as his illustrious predeccesor:
"In this day and age, you would not get that. I don't think you can ever ask for time now. All you can ask for is to be judged on how it goes. Time is something managers do not get now and it is a tough start."
A year later and Moyes is unemployed, sacked after a woeful campaign in charge of the team.
McCormack to stay
A year ago today and Leeds United star Ross McCormack made it clear he was staying at Elland Road. The Scotland international was being linked with moves to Blackpool and QPR but made it clear he was happy under Brian McDermott.
A year on and a lot has changed. Disillusioned with the new ownership under Massimo Cellino and at the decision to part ways with McDermott, McCormack wants to exit Leeds this summer.
