Sporting Kansas City striker Dom Dwyer scored the opener in his side's 1-1 draw with Chicago Fire last night and celebrated by taking a selfie.

The English forward scored his twelfth goal of the season in Sporting Kansas City's 1-1 draw with Chicago Fire on Sunday night and celebrated his goal by taking a selfie with Kansas City fans.

Dwyer robbed defender Patrick Ianni of the ball and slotted past Sean Johnson before taking a phone from a photographer and marked his goal with a selfie alongside Soony Saad and a few lucky Kansas City supporters.

The 23-year-old was booked for his celebration and his side had to settle for a point against Chicago.

Last seasons MLS champions are currently just two points behind DC United at the top of the Eastern Conference and look to have recovered from a dip in form before the World Cup break.

Graham Zusi returned to action last night as he returned from the USA's World Cup campaign, and made an instant impact when he came on.

Matt Besler was back at the club but did not feature with question marks still surrounding his future, after some impressive displays in Brazil have attracted interest from Premier League and Bundesliga clubs.

What do you make of Dwyer's selfie celebration?
