The young Welsh international is amongst seven players to have signed a contract, the club has announced.

Winger Harry Wilson is amongst the youngsters to have signed a professional contract at Liverpool, according to the club's website.

Wilson is one of the most talked about talents at the Reds having made his senior international debut for Wales at the age of 16 in a 1-0 defeat against Belgium in October last year.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers at the time said he had a long way to go before making it to the Premier League level but it has not stopped Wilson being talked about when it comes to Liverpool's youngsters, despite only turning 17 in March.

Whether signing a professional deal means he could be in line for a bit of first team action in the season ahead remains to be seen, but there's a lot of talk that Wilson could be a star for Liverpool in the future if he keeps progressing. He played much of his football in the Liverpool under-18's side, but was part of the under-21 team in the latter stages of last season.

The Reds also confirmed the arrival of 20-year-old defender Kevin Stewart, after it was reported he had made the move to Merseyside after being released by Tottenham whilst goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has also joined from North London.

Four other players have signed on a professional deal including Sergi Canos, Pedro Chirvella, Jordan Williams and Sheyi Ojo - with the latter two expected to officially sign today.
