Dejan Lovren has incurred the wrath of Southampton fans yet again, after another remarkable outburst.
Earlier today, Lovren told Sportske Novosti: "My head is already at Liverpool."
Lovren went on to reiterate his desire to leave Southampton, citing a lack of ambition, before admitting his admiration for Liverpool's club anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone".
Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier hit out at the Croatian directly on Twitter, asking if he'd want another transfer when Luis Suárez leaves Liverpool, before telling the defender that a player who wants to leave should "Keep your trap shut".
Le Tissier's message mirrored that of many Southampton fans, who have reacted angrily to what they perceive to be a lack of respect and professionalism from the defender.
Yesterday evening the Croatian responded with a post of a photo on Instagram which carried the following message:
Southampton have so far rejected two offers for Lovren, with both offers falling short of their £25m valuation.
With both sides seemingly unwilling to compromise, Lovren faces a rocky few days and weeks ahead.
