Arsenal's London Colney training ground is set to get a little bit more crowded from tomorrow.
The World Cup is coming to an end but fear not, it will not be long until all the clubs are back in pre-season action - then before you know it the Premier League will be back.
Some teams have already been at it, with plenty of players sharing pictures of themselves in the gym getting in shape for the new campaign.
Ander Herrera at Manchester United has shared a selfie of himself in his new training kit while Tottenham Hotspur's forgotten £30 million man Erik Lamela looks fighting fit for a hopefully better season this year.
Essentially, anyone who hasn't been to the World Cup is now getting into shape for 2014-15 - and now a large group of Arsenal boys will be doing the same.
The news that 12 players will begin pre-season training tomorrow, Monday the 7th July, will certainly get Arsenal fans around the world excited about the upcoming new season.
The news was confirmed today by Jeorge Bird, an Arsenal expert and insider via his Twitter account:
Szczesny, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Flamini, Arteta, Rosicky, Ramsey, Monreal, Sanogo, Akpom, Bellerin and Olsson start training tomorrow.— Jeorge Bird (@jeorgebird) July 6, 2014
The likes of Joel Campbell, Per Mertesacker, Olivier Giroud and more are still on break, indeed some are still in Brazil after getting to the latter stages of the World Cup.
But Aaron Ramsey, Wojciech Szczesny and Tomas Rosicky's respective nations are not at the tournament; Kieran Gibbs, Mathieu Flamini, Carl Jenkinson and Nacho Monreal were all overlooked by theirs while Mikel Arteta, Kris Olsson, Hector Bellerin, Chuba Akpom and Yaya Sanogo are yet to receive a full international cap - so circumstances dictate that this dozen will be at London Colney tomorrow.
Which will hopefully be the start of an excellent adventure, culminating in silverware come May next year.
