Two days has never felt so long, but finally the World Cup gets back into action today - with a double header of mouth-watering proportions.
This evening sees the hosts Brazil face arguably the most impressive team in the tournament so far, Colombia, in a crunch South American meeting.
But before that there is an all European affair to get out of the way first - as the impressive France take on the imperious Germany.
Of course there is plenty of Premier League interest in this game. Representatives from Newcastle, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and in particular Arsenal will all feature.
The Gunners have an abundance of players on show for both Germany and France later. The French have Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud, while former right-back Bacary Sagna is also present. Of course the French connection does not stop there for Arsenal - with manager Arsene Wenger and fellow Frenchman Yaya Sanogo, Mathieu Flamini and Abou Diaby all set to watch with baited breath.
So Ozil had a message on Twitter ahead of the game, which he is dubbing 'Battle of the Gunners'...
