Two Chilean stars are potentially shaping the transfer market across Europe, and certainly the Premier League.
Alexis Sanchez is strongly linked to Arsenal and Liverpool, but they are not the only ones who want him.
Italian champions Juventus are desperate to land the star, who proved his Serie A pedigree with Udinese.
They cannot afford him outright however, and will have to sell to buy. Paul Pogba is one possiblity, but the exit of Arturo Vidal appears more likely.
The all-action box-to-box midfielder is precisely what Manchester United need, and manager Louis van Gaal is a confirmed admirer.
Now it appears a deal could well be on the cards. Italian newspaper Tuttosport report Juventus would listen to offers for Vidal, with Manchester United named as a suitor.
This would allow Juventus to push on with their plan to sign Alexis Sanchez, who is in negotiations with both Arsenal and Manchester United.
As a result, a deal for Vidal would have to happen sooner rather than later. Real Madrid remain interested but at this time appear more focused on Toni Kroos.
United also have the possibility of lowering Vidal's price by throwing Patrice Evra into the deal, who has been linked to Juventus.
Arsenal have also been linked with Vidal, and such a deal would be bad news for them, for they would see the midfielder sign for a rival, and face increased prospects of their Sanchez deal being scuppered.
