Erik Lamela will be hoping for a much better 2014-15 season than his debut campaign at White Hart Lane.

Last summer Tottenham Hotspur lost their star player with the record-breaking sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.
The Welshman went for a whopping world record fee, but Tottenham had a plan to get over his exit - buy potential and buy it in bulk.
However if one of the players brought into White Hart Lane represented a close likeness to Bale in style it was probably Erik Lamela, a fact which was shown in his price-tag, a massive £30 million.
The former AS Roma player arrived with a massive reputation as one of the hottest talents in the world, however things have not worked out quite the way he, or his new club, would have hoped.
Lamela struggled to come to terms with his surroundings in London and not only was he trying to adapt to a new language and lifestyle - but he was suffering with injury for much of the season.
Eventually Tottenham wrote off his campaign. Lamela returned to his native Argentina to keep fit and Spurs went on without him - the change in managers did not help matters either.
This summer Lamela has been back in his homeland, watching his nation in the World Cup at his house and regularly posting updates on Twitter about his movements.
Well the £30 million man is now back in London, as he confirmed himself on his Twitter account yesterday.
And now the Tottenham Hotspur official Twitter account have also shown him in action. Lamela is seen doing some weights work on his right-leg and looking in good shape ahead of the new campaign.
If he can get himself fighting fit, under new manager and fellow Argentine Mauricio Pochettino who knows? He could have an excellent impact for Spurs in 2014-15.
