Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: £10m bid for Davies imminent, Pochettino considers Negredo

Alvaro Negredo for Sevilla

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

The Telegraph reports that Mauricio Pochettino has commissioned Tottenham to make a £10 million bid for Ben Davies.

The Swansea City defender has emerged as a likely candidate to come in at left-back at White Hart Lane.

Davies was linked as being part of a possible triple transfer from Swansea, with Spurs also thought to be keen on Michel Vorm and Wilfried Bony.

The Daily Star has suggested Spurs will rival any side interested in Manchester City hit man Alvaro Negredo.

Negredo had a decent first season in English football with the Premier League champions last season but has been linked with a summer exit.

Reports suggest Pochettino is unconvinced by the attacking duo of Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor he’s inherited at the club.

Spurs have seen two youngsters leave the club and join Premier League rivals Liverpool.

Kevin Stewart and Lawrence Vigouroux have made the switch to Anfield with Stewart signing a two-year deal with Vigouroux having impressed while on trial.

Stewart is a centre-back while Vigouroux plays as a goalkeeper.
