Obama topped a new Quinnipiac University national poll that asked respondents whom they thought has been the worst president since WWII.

According to a plurality of respondents in a new national poll, President Barack Obama is living history - in a bad way.

Obama topped a new Quinnipiac University national poll that asked respondents who they thought has been the worst president since World War II. He topped the poll with 33 percent of the vote, while George W. Bush came in second place with 28 percent.

Voters did, however, rank Obama better than Bush for the economy: 37 to 34 percent.

Ronald Reagan easily received the most favorable ranking among respondents, with 35 percent saying he is the best president since WWII. Bill Clinton came in second with 18 percent.

The poll, conducted from June 24 to 30, included 1,446 registered voters across the country.
