The main theme surrounding the stories involving Luis Suarez this morning is that Liverpool have held 'productive' talks with Barcelona for the sale of the Uruguayan player - but there seems to be a difference on the figure from several papers.
The figures tend to range from £60 million to £80 million. There has been speculation the Reds may want Alexis Sanchez as part of the deal as the club do hold an interest in the Chilean star - but the Liverpool Echo reports it isn't a deal breaker - and many reports seem to suggest the transfer is for a fee and no player exchange.
An Anfield source is quoted in the pieces, saying: “The talks were productive with sensible expectations on both sides.
“Further talks and discussions will take place in due course. Nothing is finalised as of now.”
The Daily Mail's report on the situation says that Sanchez has yet to give any indication he would like to join Liverpool as Arsenal are also said to be interested in the former Udinese star.
The Guardian has reiterated Liverpool's interest in other transfer targets this summer. Southampton's Dejan Lovren and Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand are on Brendan Rodgers' radar whilst Belgian youngster Divock Origi from Lille and Benfica's Lazar Markovic.
