The future of Juan Guillermo Cuadrado is uncertain and now Bayern Munich have joined Manchester United in the chase for Fiorentina ace.
Versatile 26-year-old Juan Guillermo Cuadrado has shown a capability of playing to a high standard in a multitude of positions, including high on the wings, centre forward, all the way across the midfield from left to right and also at right back.
Yesterday, Wednesday, Manchester United were linked with a move for the Colombia star and a data analysis on HITC: Sport indicated that the Old Trafford outfit may well be pondering a move for Cuadrado as they see him as the player they hoped Antonio Valencia could have been. The report even highlights statistics that show Cuadrado is more effective than Raheem Sterling and Eden Hazard and only slightly inferior to Arjen Robben.
United are not the only club interested in the Fiorentina man's services as, according to Bild, Bayern Munich are also studying the World Cup winger's performances.
However, unlike United, Pep Guardiola would be tempted to use Cuadrado as a right back.
Bild write that €40 million (£32 million) would be enough to encourage Fiorentina to allow personal talks with the player.
Cuadrado will next be in action tomorrow evening as Colombia take on host nation Brazil at the Estadio Castelao in Fortaleza with a place in the semifinal at stake.
