Three Spurs players who could leave now the transfer window is open

We take a look at three players who could be on their way out of Tottenham Hotspur this summer...

Given the transfers in and out of White Hart Lane last summer, this year it could be fairly dull in comparison. But there are likely to be a few incomings and outgoings.

Here we take a look at three Tottenham Hotspur players who could well be set for the exit:

Michael Dawson

The Tottenham centre-back has been linked with an exit in recent weeks, with both Hull City and Queens Park Rangers among the clubs said to be interested. While Dawson remains a good option for Spurs, there are suggestions new manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring in at least two new central defenders, raising questions over Dawson’s future.

With a contract until the summer of 2016, now could be the last chance Tottenham have of getting a decent fee for the 30-year-old.

What a strange year it has been for the Brazilian international. From being one of his country’s star performers at the Confederations Cup, he now looks a shadow of that player and has subsequently been dropped by Luiz Felipe Scolari in favour of Fernandinho.

The player was previously linked with a move to Chelsea and while it has since been suggested that he will see out what has been a tricky time at White Hart Lane, his continual poor performances could see his mind made up for him.

Kyle Naughton

The defender came out at the end of last season to reveal that he was considering leaving Spurs in order to find regular first-team football. At 25, Naughton will know it is time he was a first-choice and if that cannot happen at Spurs there are likely to be a number of clubs willing to take him on.

With a contract for another two years, it is time Tottenham either make him their undisputed number one or move him out permanently.
