Napoli chief warns Arsenal: Balotelli will cause trouble anywhere

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has warned potential suitors for AC Milan's Mario Balotelli that the marksman can't be tamed.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis believes that any club willing to sign Italy international Mario Balotelli must resign themselves to his bad boy ways.

Balotelli is expected to quit Milan ahead of next season after the Rossoneri failed to qualify for Europe and the player's agent has given clear signs his client is unsettled.

It is being reported that Balotelli is determined to sign for Arsenal, who have been widely linked with the ex-Manchester City man, but the volatile striker's temperament remains a problem.

"Balotelli would have problems in any team," Napoli chief De Laurentiis stressed on Il Processo di Biscardi

"He has to resolve the problem of his ego."

During his career, Balotelli has frequently feuded with coaches and last season he was often criticised for an apparent lack of effort when playing for Milan.

Milan are said to want to sell Super Mario in order to free up the money to comprehensively overhaul their squad after a disappointing campaign.

The Diavolo may have been hoping for a longer, more impressive World Cup campaign to push up the price they could command for Balotelli.

Despite netting the winner against England, Balotelli was heavily criticised after Italy crashed out of the World Cup after his lacklustre outings against Costa Rica and Uruguay.

It has been suggested that Balotelli is angry at being made a scapegoat and wants to leave Italy altogether.
