La Liga transfer latest: Casillas and Lopez linked with Madrid exits

All the latest summer transfer news from La Liga...

Most of the speculation surrounding Real Madrid this summer has been over their pursuit of various central midfielders, but reports today suggest that there could be movement over the club's goalkeeping situation. It's speculated that both first choice Diego Lopez and long-serving Iker Casillas could be sold this summer in order to make way for Levante's Keylor Navas.

The Costa Rican has been one of the stars of the World Cup having led his country to the last eight of the tournament with some sensational displays, and having seen Casillas' regression continue in Brazil, it seems that manager Carlo Ancelotti is ready to make a change between the sticks.

Meanwhile, Real's fierce rivals Barcelona are undergoing something of a transformation this summer under new manager Luis Enrique, and with Victor Valdes, Carles Puyol and Cesc Fabregas no longer on the play staff and Xavi set to join them, there will be shortage of changes.

Another departure could come in the form of full back Adriano. The Brazilian, 29, is wanted by both Fiorentina and Roma this summer, but it won't be easy to sign him, with Barca looking to sell the former Sevilla star for no less than €12m. With Valencia's Jeremy Mathieu seemingly moving closer to a move to the Camp Nou, Adriano would clearly be out of favour - prompting the speculation about his possible move to Italy.

A less notable exit has already been confirmed, with Celta Vigo moving to snap up Barcelona B centre back Sergi Gomez on a three-year deal. The 22-year-old moves to Galicia having made just one appearance for the first team in his eight year stint with the club, and will be hoping for more first team football with Eduardo Berizzo's side.
