Confirmed: Belgium and USA line-ups – Origi in, Lukaku out

Eden Hazard 2

Here is how Belgium and the USA will line up in their World Cup last-16 clash, including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur stars, and a reported Liverpool target.

Belgium will be looking to book their place in the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup finals with victory over the USA today.

The Red Devils will head into the encounter at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador as the favourites.

The European side have yet to impress in the tournament, but they did secure their place in the last 16 with three wins in Group H.

Marc Wilmots’ side kicked off their World Cup campaign with a 2-1 victory over Algeria and then beat Russia 1-0, before edging past South Korea by the same margin.

On the other hand, the USA have been very impressive in finishing runners-up in Group G.

Jurgen Klinsmann’s side got the better of Ghana 2-1 in their opening match and then held Portugal to a 2-2 draw.

The US went down 1-0 to Germany in their final game, but that was still enough for them to finish second in the group.

Today, the American team will be keen to continue their progress in the tournament and stage a huge upset by defeating many people’s ‘dark horse’ Belgium.

Belgium XI: Courtois, Alderweireld, Van Buyten, Kompany, Vertonghen, Witsel, Fellaini, De Bruyne, Mertens, Origi, Hazard

USA XI: Howard, Johnson, Gonzalez, Besler, Beasley, Cameron, Bradley, Jones, Zusi, Dempsey, Bedoya
