Here is how France and Nigeria will line up for today’s World Cup last-16 clash in Brasília, including Chelsea and Arsenal stars.

France will head into their World Cup last-16 encounter against Nigeria at the Estadio Nacional Mane Garrincha in Brasília today as clear favourites.

Didier Deschamps’ side have been impressive in the tournament so far and booked their place in the round of 16 as Group E winners.

Les Bleus kicked off their World Cup campaign with a 3-0 victory over Honduras and then hammered Switzerland 5-2.

In their final group match, the 1998 World Cup winners were held to a goalless draw by Ecuador, but that was enough for them to progress to the last 16.

On the other hand, Nigeria finished runners-up in Group F, ending up with four points from three matches – five points behind group winners Argentina.

France came into the tournament without much expectation on them, but their displays in the tournament have sparked suggestions that they could go all way in Brazil.

However, the Euro 2000 winners will face a tough match against Nigeria today, as the African giants will be keen to progress further in the competition.

The Super Eagles have reached the knockout stage of the World Cup for the first time since 1998 and will determined to go a step further in Brazil.
