Chelsea winger Eden Hazard sent a message to four of his former Lille teammates who are in the France squad ahead of their World Cup last-16 clash against Nigeria.
Les Bleus are currently in action at the Estadio Nacional Mana Garrincha in Brasília where they are taking on the Super Eagles for a place in the quarter-finals.
Ahead of the contest, the 23-year-old wished Mathieu Debuchy, Lucas Digne, Rio Mavuba and Yohan Cabaye the best of luck on social networking site Twitter.
Two of the players Hazard mentioned in his tweet are currently on the books of Paris Saint-Germain: Digne and Cabaye.
PSG’s interest in the winger has been well documented, but all the reports have now died down as both Hazard and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho have made it clear that the star player is not for sale.
Hazard’s latest tweet has nothing to do with those links: all the players he mentioned are actually his former teammates at Lille.
Hazard played for Lille until 2012 when he moved to Chelsea and still remains attached to the former French champions - he also seems to have a good relationship with his former teammates.
The Chelsea star himself will be action at the World Cup on Tuesday when Belgium take on the USA in their last-16 encounter at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador.
Hazard has yet to make a big impact for the Red Devils so far in the tournament, but Tuesday’s match will give him the perfect chance to announce himself in Brazil.
