Arsenal latest: Spurs want Aurier, Gunners want Debuchy

All the latest news and gossip from the past 24 hours at The Emirates.

Earlier this week Tottenham were linked with stealing a march on Arsenal for Loic Remy. But now it seems they are ready to usurp them once again - this time looking for right-back Serge Aurier.

The Ivorian star is being linked with PSG and Marseille as well but Arsenal reportedly agreed terms with the player recently.

But Spurs want to bring him in to the club to add competition to Kyle Walker at right-back.

However Arsenal are reportedly set to bring in a different right-back replacement for Bacary Sagna - Newcastle United defender Mathieu Debuchy.

The French international has made it clear that he wants to play Champions League football next term. While Arsenal need a right-back.

Talks between the two clubs have reportedly begun and Debuchy would jump at the chance to join Les Bleus team-mates Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud at The Emirates.

Arsenal are being linked with Alexis Sanchez this summer - as are Manchester United and Liverpool. However rather ominously Manchester City have reportedly joined the race for the player. With a Chilean manager and more money to offer City would immediately become the favourites to snap him up this summer.

Arsenal are reportedly in talks with teenage Belgian David Henen. The club have been linked with him in the past, although Manchester United were always considered the favourites to snap him up.

He spent last season on loan with AS Monaco, playing with the B team.

But now Arsenal want to buy him from Anderlecht - with a reported fee of €1.5m move.
