The Belgian national team might not be firing on all cylinders at the World Cup but they are certainly still dark horses for the tournament. The only team at the competition who have not yet conceded from open play are through to the second round where they face the USA - a team they, and their eccentric fans, will expect to beat.
Their fans have been excellent at the tournament, rivalling their Benelux rivals Holland when it comes to extravagant fancy dress in boiling hot conditions.
But the Belgian authorities have done well to whip their country up into a frenzy - with plenty of PR and media posturing doing the rounds.
Their Facebook channel has been very interactive - giving us a look into the physio room, the social side of being away on national team duty and even training sessions.
The Belgian players have even been giving back to the fans, with Marouane Fellaini yesterday sending a wig to a 12-year-old fan.
Now it is Chelsea star Eden Hazard's turn. He responded to a fan letter from 79-year-old 'Nana' Francine, who is obsessed with the Red Devils.
Hazard, with a little help from his friend Laurent Ciman, sent off a special signed Belgium shirt to the charismatic pensioner along with a video message.#
An act that reduced her to tears.
