Let's cast our eyes back to this exact day, the 29th June 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 29th June 2013…
Fernando to Arsenal
In one of the more absurd transfer rumours from last summer Arsenal were being linked with a swoop for Chelsea flop Fernando Torres.
The striker had barely scored a goal since arriving from Liverpool in a £50 million move, but that did not apparently put off Arsene Wenger - who was said to be a 'long-term' admirer of Torres.
Chelsea would have been keen to sell, after a other stuttering league campaign for Torres.
The reports suggested Arsenal were ready to partner Torres up front with Gonzalo Higuain - who they were chasing from Napoli.
In the end Arsenal signed ... neither of them.
Cav a bit of that
Chelsea are after a striker this summer and a year ago it was no different. The Blues were said to be chasing Edinson Cavani of Napoli - with him reportedly 'agreeing terms' on a switch a year ago today.
The reports came from Italy - but it did not mean a deal was close to being done, as Chelsea refused to meet his £54 million release clause.
It soon became clear that Cavani was not coming to Chelsea, as they focused their attentions on signing Wayne Rooney from Manchester United.
Cavani eventually went to Paris Saint-Germain.
Taking the Mkh
A day after it was reported that Tottenham had entered the race reports in Russia indicated that Liverpool had agreed a deal to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Armenian star was apparently all set to switch Shakhtar Donetsk for Anfield in a £26.5 million move.
But Liverpool missed out, with the player joining Borussia Dortmund a week later.
