League One transfer latest: MK Dons confirm interest in 23-goal striker

All the latest summer transfer news from League One...

Bradford City have lost winger Kyel Reid to Preston this summer, but have added another new face to summer signings Alan Sheehan, Gary Liddle, Billy Knott and Matty Dolan with the capture of former Crawley Town striker Billy Clarke. The former Ipswich and Blackpool man was let go by the Sussex outfit this summer, and has agreed to join the Bantams on a two-year contract starting from July 1st.

Bristol City continued to strengthen their squad by snapping up Oldham Athletic captain Korey Smith this weekend. The 23-year-old has made the switch from Boundary Park to Ashton Gate after the two sides agreed an undisclosed fee, and Robins midfielder Liam Kelly will be making the opposite switch, moving from the West Country to Greater Manchester having missed the majority of last season through injury.

Relegated Yeovil Town will be hoping to secure promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking, and manager Gary Johnson has secured his third signing of the summer after signing former Crewe Alexandra striker AJ Leitch-Smith on a two-year deal. The 24-year-old joins defenders Aaron Martin and Nathan Smith in arriving at Huish Park, and he will be hoping to score the goals to fire the Glovers back up again.

One striker who could be on the move is Scunthorpe's Sam Winnall, who hit 23 goals as the Iron returned to League One. MK Dons have been strongly linked with a swoop to sign the former Wolves man, and manager Karl Robinson hinted at his interested in the 23-year-old forward.

"Before I do anything I would speak to the manager of the team. I haven't spoken to Russ Wilcox at all yet," Robinson said, "But I think he is somebody a lot of teams would be interested in, it's not just me."
