Chelsea are believed to be interested in long-term Manchester United target William Carvalho - with a bid reportedly ready for this summer.

The dynamic midfielder has been one of the top targets for United for many years but they have always been reluctant to meet his release clause.

Carvalho has always maintained he will stay at Sporting for at least one more season but the 22-year-old is reportedly set to be the subject of an £11 million, plus add-ons, bid from Chelsea - with a player going out on loan to the Estadio Jose Alvalade to sweeten the deal.

More now on Chelsea's apparent interest in Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. The ex-Manchester United starlet has reportedly emerged as a target for Jose Mourinho - who is adding depth to his side this summer.

it is now reported Chelsea are willing to splash out up to £60 million for the player as well as making him the club's biggest earner.

Pogba recently made headlines for signing himself as Chelsea manager on Football Manager.

Chelsea will announce the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa on the 1st of July - according to reports.

The Spanish striker has reportedly agreed terms and completed a medical with The Blues, however they are said to have an agreement with Los Colchoneros not to announce the £32 million deal until the transfer window opens in a few days.
