Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has praised teammate Christian Eriksen's work ethic.
The Danish play-maker enjoyed an impressive debut season at White Hart Lane, following his £11million move from Ajax.
Of all Spurs’ summer signings, Eriksen proved to be the best, shining despite often being played out of position and ending the campaign with 12 goals and 16 assists.
In the Premier League alone, Eriksen netted seven times and set up another eight, playing 68 key passes in total and having a pass accuracy of 82%.

The 22-year-old really began to find his feet in the second half of the season, and his performances hinted at even better things to come. And now Tottenham’s other star performer last year – Emmanuel Adebayor – has revealed one of the secrets to Eriksen’s success.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Togo front-man said, “He’s a great talent and a great professional.
“He has great vision too. He trains hard every day, early in the morning does his gym work ready to train, and before the game you can see how he prepares.
“His contribution this season has been unbelievable.”
As talented as Eriksen undeniably is, Adebayor’s quotes reveal that it is his work ethic that ensures he continues to perform at his optimum. And if the young Dane maintains that mentality throughout his career, he could go on to become one of the best play-makers in football.
When you consider some of the inflated fees paid these days, the £11million Tottenham forked out for Eriksen already looks like a bargain.
