As per the table, Monaco’s attacking midfielder has been firing on all cylinders.

From an attacking midfield position and mainly on the counterattack, the 22-year-old has notched three goals, whilst also providing up to six chances for his fellow teammates.

His most impressive statistic, however, is his ten successful dribbles used to devastating effect. Described as extremely versatile with excellent technical ability, his balance and speed allows him to change direction at such pace that defenders often foul him as a means of last resort.

James Rodriguez has also shown himself to be a team player – offering up as much as 20 ball recoveries whilst contributing to 99 accurate passes in just 225 minutes of football.

His stunning World Cup performances have been duly noted by Europe’s biggest clubs, with Premier League duo Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly  interested.

The Express recently claimed that the player was looking for a way out of Monaco this summer, citing the lack of challenges currently presented in France’s top flight Ligue 1.

The former Porto star, however, cost the principality club a reported £35 million last summer, therefore it would now take a bid nearer £50 million for either The Red Devils or Spurs to prize him away.
