Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Sign Pochettino is preparing to welcome Lovren?

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

The Mirror claims Tottenham are favourites in the race to sign the £15 million rated Dejan Lovren from Southampton.

The Saints defender is one of several players at the club linked with a summer exit.

Liverpool had been reportedly favourites to land the defender, but Mauricio Pochettino could now spearhead a deal, bringing him to White Hart Lane.

Hull City have made a £4 million move to sign Tottenham Hotspur captain Michael Dawson.

Should Spurs sign Lovren from the Saints, it means Pochettino will likely have to move on a player to make room in the squad.

That player could be Dawson with the Daily Mail suggesting Steve Bruce is keen on signing the experienced defender.

Reported Spurs target Yacine Brahimi has revealed he wants to move on after the World Cup.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder currently plans for Granada but is looking for a bigger move.

“I learned from my time at Rennes, and in the last two years I have grown and matured. My goal is to go in a more upscale club,” he told the French media.
