South London latest: Palace target striker, Millwall eye former Chelsea man

Michu

Today's South London latest brings you all the biggest news from the past 24 hours surrounding Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic and Millwall.

1) Tony Pulis looking to Michu

The Swansea striker is looking set to leave the Welsh club this summer and Crystal Palace are keen on the Spanish forward, according to the Daily Mail.

Michu is being tracked by Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Michael Laudrup's Qatari side Lekhwiya but Tony Pulis is hoping to keep the 28-year-old in the Premier League with a switch to The Eagles.

The forward scored 18 goals in an excellent debut season with The Swans two years ago, but struggled with injuries last term and only made 12 Premier League appearances, scoring twice.

2) Millwall chasing Chelsea academy product Sam Hutchinson

Ian Holloway is hoping to bring in the versatile 24-year-old who is available on a free transfer after his contract with Chelsea was not renewed.

Hutchinson ended last season on loan at Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday, who are keen to secure his services on a permanent basis too but Holloway hopes that he can convince the defender to remain in London with a move to The Lions.

"I've made it totally clear to Sam what I think he needs and what Millwall need, he's in no doubt that I think he'd be very good for us. He's weighing it all up," Holloway said.

3) Charlton's academy striker moves to AFC Wimbledon

Adebayo Azeez has joined League Two side AFC Wimbledon on a free transfer following loan spells at Dagenham and Redbridge and Torquay last season, where he scored five goals in 25 appearances combined.

The 20-year-old striker came through The Addicks youth academy but only made one senior appearance for the club.
