A selection of the latest transfer stories and more involving Tottenham Hotspur this Friday evening.
The 33-year-old Argentine is available on a free transfer this summer with Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino said to be keen to have Cambiasso in the middle of the park at Spurs and despite being linked with a move back to River Plate, the midfielder has said he has had offers from European clubs.
He's quoted telling www.fcinternews.it: "I have several proposals from big clubs but as a sign of respect for them I will not reveal the negotiations that my father and my brother are undertaking."
He is said to be available for £5 million and if he were to join, it will be after rejecting a big money move to Premier League champions Manchester City.
If Erik Lamela is on the move this summer it won't be to Inter Milan according to the Serie A club's sporting director Piero Ausilio.
Lamela failed to make any real impact at White Hart Lane in his first season, struggling with both his form and his injuries since his big money signing from Roma.
Sky Sports have picked up on quotes Ausilio gave to Gazzetta Dello Sport, where he said: "Lamela is a dream that has no chance of becoming true because Tottenham don't want to put him on the market."
Walker told the Tottenham website: “I always say the biggest thing about football is confidence and if you can play with confidence, you can do anything.
“We speak a lot and I’m happy he’s done well.
“I want to play all the time but at the same time, I’m pleased for Kyle that he’s got a good run in the team to show what he can do.”
