Brother of former Liverpool defender Emiliano currently players for Boca Juniors and could end up in East London.

West Ham Untied have been linked with a move for Emanuel Insua - brother of former Liverpool left-back Emiliano Insua.

The Daily Mirror has reported that the 23-year-old left-back could become the third signing for the Hammers this summer after Mauro Zarate and Cheikhou Kouyate joined the club, if Insua does complete his move from Boca Juniors.

If the deal does go through, the younger Insua will be hoping for a better Premier League experience than his elder brother who broke through into the Liverpool team midway through the 2008/09 season and had some impressive displays, before a difficult 2009/10 season resulted him being moved on to Sporting Lisbon and then Atletico Madrid - but has also had the opportunity to .

Emanuel - who can also play on the left side of midfield as well as left-back - has made 25 appearances in all competitions for Boca Juniors in the past season, scoring one goal and providing six assists.

Signing the Argentine is likely to provide competition for George McCartney in that role, who struggled in the early part of last season with a knee injury - but the 33-year-old still managed to make 22 league appearances last term.
