Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark launch trailer looks Mega-tron

Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark

The latest Transformers game from Activision is now available across multiple platforms, and the launch trailer features music from Linkin Park too.

The newest Tranformers movie is hitting cinemas all over the world in the coming days and weeks, along with the latest game - Tranformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. Not your typical movie tie-in, Rise of the Dark Spark has been developed by Edge of Reality and published by Activision, and it will take place in both the movie and War for Cybertron universes of previous games.

The game will allow you to choose which side you want to fight on, the noble Autobots – to protect Earth - or the evil Decepticons – to destroy it. ‘The Dark Spark’ featured in the game’s title, is a super powerful relic that can rip holes in dimensions, so you can imagine both sides of the fight want to get their hands on it. Multiplayer is featured too, with the return of Escalation mode from the previous Cybertron titles (not including the Wii U and 3DS), where four players must fend off waves of enemies using over 40 playable characters they can choose from.

Take a look at the latest launch trailer below, and keep an eye out for our review of the game in the coming weeks.

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is available now in the US, and on 27 June in Europe, on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U, 3DS, and PC.
