There is little wonder that Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is one of the world's more coveted footballers. A composed and yet bullish midfield operator he has shone for both Juventus and his country Chile for several seasons now.
At the age of 27 he is now in his prime, and many teams know this, which is why interest in his signature is reportedly so high.
He is believed to be open to a move away from Serie A this summer. He has been in Turin since 2011 and it is rumoured he feels as if he has come as far as he can at the club.
Plenty of teams have been linked with the player, but Manchester United and Real Madrid have become the two teams that are the 'go-to' when it comes to Vidal transfer rumours.
Now it is rumoured his agent is off to Brazil to discuss his potential exit with his client.
Carlo Ancelotti is believed to want him as a Sami Khedira replacement, while United are after a dynamic midfielder - although with the interest in Ander Herrera, Vidal would be an odd acquisition considering his massive price-tag.
However the report also claims that United are ready to offer Juve Nani in exchange for the player, which would considerably lower his price-tag.
Of course Vidal rumours are often doing the rounds, so these reports should not be taken with too much heated anticipation. Vidal would be a great addition to any of the big teams in world football and it may very well be that United and Madrid are keen, but until something official is confirmed it is still best to greet these latest rumours with a pinch of salt.
