July’s selection of free games for PS Plus members including Dead Space 3 and the reboot of the arcade classic Strider
Following the recent PS Plus restructure there’s two games each for PS3, PS4 and Vita, own all three and you’ve got access to six free games a month with a PS Plus Subscription. Here’s the free games coming up for download in July for Sony’s trio of consoles.
For PS4 there’s the local multiplayer-tastic TowerFall: Ascension an action platformer originally out on Ouya with some frenzied arrow blazing battles. The remake of Capcom’s 1989 arcade classic Strider will also be free on PS4 giving you a chance to relive the frenetic cyber-ninja sword action.
PS3 gamers can look forward to the third game in the critically acclaimed sci-fi survival horror Dead Space with its winning blend of third person action and scares. Also free for PS3 is the indie physics-based, steampunk platformer Vessel, those into their electronica will recognise the deep organic vibes of musical pioneer Jon Hopkins in the soundtrack to this game.
In North America Muramasa Rebirth, the Vita port of the beautifully stylish Wii action RPG Muramasa: The Demon Blade will be available and in Europe LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be free for Vita giving you a cast of Lego renditions of famous comic book characters to play with in an open world. Both territories will get Doki Doki Universe a super cute indie game that comes as a bonus cross-buy on PS3 and PS4 giving you three games for your console.

The above games will be joining the Instant Game Collection from Tuesday 1st July in North America and Wednesday 2nd July in Europe. With the arrival of these six new games last months offerings amongst them SlyCooper: Thieves in Time and PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate will be leaving PS Plus, so add them to your downloads before next week if you wanted to get them.
