The American comedy star has taken a swipe at Urguary's Luis Suarez by saying he will personally bite any German player to help his country win.
With the United States facing Germany in their final group G game in the World Cup, actor and comedian Ferrell is willing too do anything to help his side progress.
He gatecrashed a fan gathering in Recife and told them that he will personally bite any German player who stands in their way.
The actor's comments are obviously referring to the Suarez incident in which the Uruguay forward appeared to bite Italy's Giorgio Chiellini in their final group match on Tuesday.
Luis Suarez must wait to learn if he is guilty of biting the Italian defender after an independent disciplinary panel who are investigating the incident failed to reach a verdict on Wednesday.
With that in mind, Ferrell will be hoping his 'threat' to the German's will help his country advance into the last-16 of the World Cup. They need only a draw to be sure of qualification, and would top the group if they win. They could also go through even with a defeat, if the Ghana versus Portugal game ends in a draw.
