All the latest summer transfer news from the Bundesliga...
Despite only joining Borussia Dortmund from St. Etienne last summer, striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from Signal Iduna Park, with Newcastle and Roma believed to be monitoring the situation. However, Aubameyang's father Pierre says all the speculation is false.
"There is no truth in those rumours," he said. "My son will carry on at Borussia Dortmund. He likes it at the club and the club did a lot to help him settle. No one from Dortmund has told us that they are out to sell my son - much to the opposite. I am making sure that he is taking advices from his bosses to his heart."
Newcastle may have been dealt a blow in their ambitious chase to land Gabon international Aubameyang, but there may be better news on the horizon in their pursuit of Hertha Berlin striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Bundesliga rivals Hamburg, where he impressed with 13 goals in just 18 starts.
Hamburg had hoped to land Lasogga for £6m plus midfield Per Ciljan Skjelbred, who had been on loan with Hertha, but they have now changed their mind, demanding £9.5m for the striker - which could let Newcastle in despite his wishes to join Hamburg permanently.
There has been an arrival in the Bundesliga today, or more aptly, a return to the Bundesliga. Just a day after Fulham snapped up Schalke right back Tim Hoogland on a free, the Cottagers have allowed fellow German right Sascha Riether to return to the Bundesliga with Freiburg.
The 31-year-old became a regular for the West London side since joining from Cologne in 2012, but after Felix Magath's side were relegated, it's no surprise to see the former German international make the move back home.
