Ander Herrera is coming to Manchester United at last, after the Red Devils renewed interest following their failed transfer a year ago.
The Spaniard's deal is almost complete, and he will hope to become a starter next season, and revitalise the club's under-performing midfield.
A player whose place he will be expected to take, is midfielder Tom Cleverley, whose poor form saw him dropped from the England squad despite being a regular in World Cup qualification.
The Englishman is a player he has come up against before, when Bilbao took on and beat United home and away in the Europa League in 2012.
And the photo above illustrates Cleverley screaming at Herrera to get up, after he was adjudged to have fouled him.
Another picture (right) shows Herrera going head-to-head in an aerial duel with then United wonderkid Paul Pogba, who was a substitute at the San Mames, in one of the Frenchman's final appearances for the club before leaving on a free transfer to Juventus.
Whether Herrera recalls the incident with Cleverley at all or not is unknown, but he will not have forgotten the joy he experienced against that United side.
Bilbao won 3-2 at Old Trafford and 2-1 at home, with Marcelo Bielsa's side devastating in their dismantling of United, with an image of Herrera making a strong challenge on Park Ji Sung the first leg below.
Tom Cleverley also came up against Herrera in an under-21 game for Spain against England in 2011, in which the Bilbao man scored and Danny Welbeck netted for the Three Lions.
It's fair to say United's midfield will be stronger with Herrera in it, and as for Cleverley, he will have to up his game otherwise he could find himself opposing the Spaniard again soon.
