Tottenham latest, Livermore leaves for Hull City, could Dawson follow?

A selection of the latest transfer stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Wednesday evening.

Midfielder Jake Livermore has completed his move to Hull City believed to be for around £8 million.

Livermore spent last season on loan at the KC Stadium from Spurs and made 41 appearances for the Tigers in all competitions last season.

He told Hull City's website: “I thoroughly enjoyed my season here on loan and I firmly believe that this club will keep on going from strength to strength."

Livermore may not be the only player heading to the KC Stadium with captain Michael Dawson also linked with a move to the KC Stadium according to the London Evening Standard.

Dawson could be on the move for £4 million according to the report, with the 30-year-old defender out of contract next summer.

It is said that new Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino would like to sing two new centre-backs in this transfer window, therefore Dawson is likely to see less first team football if he were to stay at White Hart Lane.

Spurs are amongst of trio of Premier League clubs said to be on alert for Valencia's Juan Bernat according to reports from Spain, which TalkSport have picked up on.

Liverpool and Manchester City are also said to be interested in the left-sided player who couldn't agree a new contract at the Mestalla. Bernat can play both as a full-back or winger.
