Video: World of Warcraft player reaches level 90 without a faction

World of Warcraft night elf

WoW player DoubleAgent achieves an historic first for the game by reaching level 90 with a faction neutral Pandaren.

In a display of single-minded tenacity WoW gamer DoubleAgent has gone against the grain by opting not to choose a faction (either Alliance or Horde). Normally in the game when you set foot out of the Pandaren lvl 1-10 newbie zone you are prompted by which faction you want to join, DoubleAgent wanted to remain neutral and so was trapped in the zone.

Having spent 173.5 days of play time in the Pandaren starting zone DoubleAgent has managed to reach level 90 by gathering nodes. He started this epic grind back in September 2012, reaching level 90 on June 21st accompanied by a mass of onlookers as you can see in the video below.

When asked if he found the exercise boring DoubleAgent replied, ”At times I can find it relaxing, a change from the normal. Plus it’s pretty easy to do when I have TV shows or movies that I need to catch up on, more so than trying to do that during a battleground or raid.”

DoubleAgent plans to continue up to level 100 when the Warlords of Draenor expansion for WoW arrives.

Blizzard community manager Rygarius acknowledged DoubleAgents momentous achievement on the official forum stating, “Congratulations Doubleagent! :D,”
